Pre-season baseline testing

We offer neuropsychological evaluations prior to, or at the start of the season. These evaluations allow the teams to obtain very precise individual measures for each athlete in regards to their brain functions that could be affected following a concussion. In the event of a concussion, the athlete will be able to benefit from a personalized rehabilitation program based on his personal data obtained at the start of the season. This procedure allows the proper planning and support which will in turn, optimize the return to school and the safe return to play.

Neuropsychological evaluation aimed at the safe return to play

A neuropsychological evaluation can also be done to determine if the athlete can safely return to practice, with no restrictions regarding training and physical contact. This evaluation consists of passing a neurocognitive test following an intense physical effort. The physical effort will mimic the intensity of the effort during a practice or a game.
